CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Police are searching for two people wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Coral Gables.
It happened about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Salzedo Street.
Officers arrived to find a man in his mid-20s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Two people were seen running from the scene west toward LeJuene Road. They were described by police as being 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall. One of them was wearing a backpack.
A perimeter was established and a search for the suspects continues, police said.
