Man hospitalized after being shot in face in Golden Glades

Victim taken to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the face inside his Golden Glades home early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened about 3 a.m. at 301 S. Biscayne River Drive.

Miami-Dade police were called to a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face.

The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

It is unclear who shot the man. No arrests have been made.

Police are not ruling out the possibility that this may be a domestic-related incident.
