KEY WEST, Fla. – A man suffering from abdominal pain was airlfited from a container ship off the coast of Key West on Sunday night.
The U.S. Coast Guard said the 34-year-old man on the Horizon Discovery was airlifted about 20 miles west of Key West.
A Coast Guard helicopter from the Miami Beach station hoisted the man from the ship.
He was taken to Lower Keys Medical Center, where he was transferred in stable condition.
