MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A man has been taken to the hospital after authorities say he walked into the path of a bus and was hit.
The incident happened Friday afternoon at 13th Street and Washington in Miami Beach.

A Miami Beach Fire Rescue official said the man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A Miami-Dade transit official said the bus could not avoid the collision.
Miami Beach police said no citations will be made against the bus driver.
The MBFR official said alcohol may have been a factor for the pedestrian, but the circumstances that led to the man getting hit are still under investigation, authorities said.
