McDonald's testing new late-night menu

Egg McMuffins paired with fries are among the new late-night menu items McDonald's is testing in select markets.
Many customers have suggested the food giant offer breakfast outside of breakfast hours, and the After Midnight menu finally does just that.
Other breakfast items in the test include the sausage burrito, Egg White Delight McMuffin, oatmeal and hot cakes with sausage, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Desserts and McCafe beverages are also in the mix.
"Our customers want convenience around the clock, and we're making it easier to eat at McDonald's with more 24-hour restaurants open than ever before," McDonald's said in a statement.
The After Midnight menu is already available in northern Delaware and College Station, Texas, according to McDonald's. A spokeswoman told The Associated Press she did not immediately know how many of its more than 14,000 U.S. restaurants would offer the menu.
Nearly half of McDonald's restaurants are open 24 hours a day.
