Megabus starts service to Miami Thursday

7 daily routes to, from Orlando, Tampa for $1

MIAMI – Megabus.com has expanded service to Miami.

Seven daily arrivals and departures to and from Tampa and Orlando begin Thursday at two Miami locations.

Megabus is known for its low fares in 120 cities across North America, some starting as low as $1, plus a reservation fee.

"Everything this week is $1, wherever you're going within Florida," Bryony Chanberlain, director of operations for Megabus, told Local 10.

That offer runs from May 15-May 22.

The first stop will be outside concourse H at Miami International Airport. The second is in downtown Miami, next to the Freedom Tower Metromover station.

Megabus said the additional routes will bring more than 60 new jobs to Florida.
