Mother seeks justice for daughter injured in Liberty City shooting

Tracey Wright asks shooter who injured 10-year-old daughters, 2 others to surrender

MIAMI – The mother of one of three girls who was shot in Miami's Liberty City made a public plea for her daughter's shooter to surrender.

"Just tell who did it," Tracey Wright said Wednesday almost 24 hours after her 10-year-old daughter, Deshareah, was wounded. "Tell who did it so (we) can have justice for my baby."

The drive-by shooting happened Tuesday afternoon while Wright's daughter was on the porch.

"All I know is my baby was just sitting on the ground with blood coming from I don't know where and she was crying," Wright said.

The bones in Deshareah's arm were shattered. More bullets grazed Jaquelyn Powell, 18, and a 15-year-old girl.

No arrests have been made.
