Man killed in Miami double shooting

Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Authorities said 20-year-old Frederick Jonell Gibson was fatally shot, and his friend was injured after the shots were fired.
"About five or six. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom," is what Clarence Dykes said he heard early this morning.
Bullets were sent flying through the air in the Coconut Grove neighborhood around 1 a.m. Saturday at 3883 Charles Terrace.
"Somebody got shot again. They are doing more shooting. Everyday there's some shooting around here," said Dykes.
Miami Police said the shooting ended with Gibson dead and another injured, with a gunshot wound to the ankle.
"These are two young men that don't bother anyone. They're quiet. They sit. They stay to themselves. I don't understand why," said Andrea Brady.
Brady, a parent of two young girls, says it could've been anyone.
"This is a major problem. These are around schools where little kids are. Police need to pick those guys up and do what they need to do," said Brady.
There is one elementary school on one side of the crime scene, and a pre-school as well as another elementary school on the opposite side of the crime scene.
"Do you know how unsafe that is to have bullets flying in the air with children walking around?" asked Brady.
After what neighbors describe as days upon days of gunfire, they are shaken and say enough is enough.
"It's crazy. I don't know when it's going to stop, the madness," said neighbor Dangelo Brady.
Miami Police have not released any information on the suspects or what led up to the shooting. Gibson's friend was later released from the hospital Saturday.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Miami Police Homicide Unit at 305-603-6350. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at ?305-471-TIPS (8477) or 1-866-471-8477.
If the tip leads to the arrest of the suspect(s), police said tipsters may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
