MIAMI – Three people, including a teenage girl, were taken to the hospital after being shot in Miami.
The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at a park on Northwest 83rd Street.
Miami-Dade police said a 17-year-old victim remained in critical condition Thursday at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was identified as Keimouria Gardner.
Willie Williamson and Herchel Belizaire, both 22, were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said two men were taken into custody and are being questioned.
Based on preliminary investigation, police said it appeared the teen was an innocent bystander.
According to witnesses, the teen was sitting on a park bench when she was struck by one of the stray bullets.
