Police asking for help in identifying hospitalized man
Police are working to identify a man who was found Sunday laying in the middle of the road not breathing and with no pulse.
At approximately 5:58 p.m. fire units responded to a call that a male was laying in the road at Zamora Avenue and Galiano Street. When Sgt. Erasmo Lopez arrived and found the man laying in the road, the man was not breathing and had no pulse.
After CPR, Lopez was able to establish a pulse on the man who was transported to Coral Gables Hospital.
Officials believe the man may have been exercising when he suffered some sort of medical emergency.
The man did not have any type of identification on him when he was found.
