MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police on Thursday arrested a man who admitted to committing 14 burglaries at hotel rooms and apartments in Miami Beach.
Police charged 32-year-old Dequan Johnson with 11 counts of burglary and 12 counts of grand theft.

Johnson stole $20,000 worth of cash, jewelry, and other items from two women staying at the Miami Beach Resort Hotel, according to investigators.
Johnson was also charged with burglaries at the DecoPlage Condominiums, Crystal Beach Suites, W Hotel, Eden Roc Hotel, Mondrian Hotel, Deauville Beach Resort, Casablanca on the Ocean Resort, and South Beach Marriott.
