Police: Man sexually assaults woman after pulling her over

Amaury Quiros, 30, held at Broward County Jail on no bond

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Amaury Quiros is on a no-bond hold in the Broward County Jail after being accused of pulling a bold stunt in the middle of the day near a Hollywood intersection.

Police said the 30-year-old was behind the wheel of a pickup when he took notice of a female driver.

The judge read several excerpts from the arrest report out loud. "He pointed to the bottom of her vehicle and yelled out, 'You have a flat tire.' He advised she pulled over and got out to look at the tire when the defendant stated he was just kidding."

From there things got progressively worse for the 28-year-old victim. She claims Quiros made strong advances, hugged her against her will, and passed his phone number off to her and demanded hers. She said he did this despite her repeatedly telling him she was married.

"She pushed him off," read the judge. "He allegedly grabbed her buttocks, put his hand in her pants and tried to continue to hug her."

The attack allegedly went on for several minutes before the woman was able to get in her car.

"At one point he allegedly reached through the window of the vehicle, attempted to kiss her, and then pulled her shirt down and touched her breast," read the judge.

Detectives arrested Quiros after they matched a fingerprint on the woman's car to him.
