MIAMI – Police are asking for help identifying a man who tried to steal a vehicle on Monday at Miami International Airport.
Police say a man tried to steal a 2014 Ford Mustang convertible from the Dollar-Thrifty Rent-a-Car second floor parking area, located at the Rental Car Center, 3900 NW 25 Street.

Police say the man drove the stolen vehicle into the exit booth gate but failed to get out of the garage.
Surveillance video shows the man exiting the damaged vehicle and running away.
The man is described as having a prominent star tattoo on his left forearm.
Anyone with information should contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
There is a reward of up to $1,000 for anyone with a tip that leads to an arrest.
