Police union: 911 system should be overseen by sworn officer

After a Local 10 investigation of 911 dispatchers sleeping on the job, the city's 911 system was removed from the police chief and put into the hands of City Hall. The police union is now saying the 911 system should be overseen by a sworn officer, not a civilian.

After a Local 10 investigation of 911 dispatchers sleeping on the job, the city's 911 system was removed from the police chief and put into the hands of City Hall.
