POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A woman is dead after being run over by a pickup truck, deputies said.
The incident happened Saturday evening at 800 Hammondville Road in Pompano Beach.
A man was parked in his truck when a woman came over and argued with him.
Witnesses told detectives the man intentionally ran over the woman twice.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead, deputies said.
Deputies believe the homicide is domestic-related.
The man is described as a white man who appears to be in his late 40s or early 50s. Deputies said he wore a white T-shirt with a bandana on his head. Detectives with the Broward Sheriff's Office described the truck as a dark gray or dark green full-size Dodge pickup.
Deputies identified the woman as 55-year-old Barbara Sapp.
