According to a Boynton Beach police report, an officer found an unattended baby sitting in front of an office building, crying and shivering. While the officer was attending to the baby, a woman ran up and started screaming, "My baby!"

The woman, identified as Doby, told police that she wasn't sure where she was or how the baby got there. The police report noted that the baby's diaper was full of feces and urine, "as though she had not been changed in a long time."

Doby was taken to the Boynton Beach Police Department to be interviewed by detectives and explained that she had been smoking flakka, police said.

In her interview with police, Doby claimed she and the baby were driven by a friend to a hotel in Delray Beach, but she left because a man there wanted to have sex with her, the report said. Instead, Doby walked with the baby to a Walmart, where she was going to wait for a ride home.

While waiting near the Walmart, someone in a truck approached her and asked if she wanted a ride, but she declined. But when the truck continued to circle the area, Doby became scared and went inside the Walmart, the report said.

Doby said she encountered a woman who offered to buy her some food, but she lost sight of the woman and returned outside, "where she fed the child some bacon cheddar chips and put Sprite in her baby bottle for her to drink."

The next thing Doby remembered was waking up in front of a Dunkin' Donuts without her baby, the report said she told police.

Detectives are working with the Florida Department of Children and Families to make arrangements for the girl.
