The owner of a horse stolen from a stable found it slaughtered about 100 feet away from its stall.
The horse, named Destiny, was stolen from 18250 Northwest 137th Avenue. Its body was found Tuesday, according to a Miami-Dade police incident report.
The horse's owner was renting a stall at the stable.
The owner of the horse said his cousin broke into tears when he saw the slaughtered animal.
No description of the person who slaughtered the horse was released.
