Teen hit by car while crossing street

A teenager was in critical condition after he was hit by a car while crossing the street.
The crash happened at Southwest 77th Avenue and S.R. 94 about 8:03 p.m. Sunday.
The driver was headed eastbound on S.R. 94 when Alvaro Orozco Rojas began crossing the street and walked in front of the car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The light was green at the time.
Orozco Rojas was then transported to Miami Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol isn't suspected as a cause of the crash.
