Police say Nathaniel Xavier Bain and another black male ordered the victims out of their Lexus at gunpoint and stole their phones and wallets.

Officers say Bain left the scene in a gray Ford Taurus and the other man left in the stolen Lexus.

Bain was arrested nearby. Police chased the second man to Opa-locka, where he abandoned the Lexus and was able to escape officers on foot.

Bain faces charges of armed robbery, carjacking, and fleeing and eluding police. He is currently on probation for grand theft.
