PAHOKEE, Fla. – An early morning fire Friday at a Pahokee mobile home park claimed the lives of twin sisters.
Cassandra and Catherine Colon, 14, were trapped inside the burning home when deputies arrived shortly after midnight, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said.

Their mother escaped and told deputies that her daughters were still inside.
Deputies broke the windows and were able to pull the sisters from the home, but they didn't survive.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
