FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Dozens of flights were either canceled or delayed Wednesday because of weather throughout the U.S., airport officials said.
At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, 32 cancellations and 85 delays were reported on Wednesday.

Gregory Meyer, with the Broward County Aviation Department, said the maximum departure delay time was three hours and three minutes.
Officials said airports affected by Wednesday night's cancellations include Boston, Cancun, Hartford, Islip, Laguardia, Kingston, Kennedy, Nassau, Newark, Port Au Prince, Philadelphia, Providence, Richmond, San Jose, Santo Domingo, Washington and White Plains.
