When Deputy Tom Way and Deputy Alan Harris arrived on the scene, Dawodu told them that she would not move her car, that they could tow it.

When Way opened Dawodu's passenger door to check the contents of her car, Dawodu pushed Way and threatened him.

At that time, Way attempted to take Dawodu into custody, but she resisted and they began a struggle. Harris then helped Way with the arrest.

Way was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released with a bruised shoulder. One other officer received a laceration on his hand which was treated at the scene.

Dawodu is being charged with battery on officer, resisting arrest and possession for marijuana under 20 grams.
