MARGATE, Fla. – A woman shot her husband in the shoulder during a domestic dispute Monday morning in Margate, police said.
Margate police Lt. Jon Shaw said Jean-Zon Ward, 28, was shot by his wife, Kary Bailey, 39, at their Dogwood Lane home.

Shaw said the shooting was the result of an argument that escalated when Ward returned to the home in the early morning.
Ward was taken to a hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound. He was expected to survive.
Bailey was taken into custody by officers at the scene.
