Wooten arrived at the Miami International Airport on Thursday.
The 630-pound manatee has spent nearly two years at the Cincinnati Zoo rehabilitating. Wooten was rescued as an orphaned calf from Wooten's Pond near Ochopee in Collier County.
Wooten will be released back into the wild at the Orange River near Fort Myers sometime next year.
Many people rely on service dogs to be their eyes and ears, but none of those animals can clock in at work unless they are healthy.
