Improv comedy show to benefit Miami-Dade Animal Services

On Wednesday, October 3rd at 8 p.m., the Miami Improv presents “Puppies & Kittens!” a special night of stand-up comedy, and the entirety of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Miami-Dade Animal Services Department.
The show features local comedians Forrest Shaw, Lisa Corrao, John Wynn, and Nery Saenz, all of whom are proud owners of adopted pets.

“This is going to be a special night of fun,” said Forrest Shaw, one of the comedians starring in the show. “It will not only warm your heart but also help save a furry friend,” added Shaw.

Each year, Animal Services receives over 30,000 pets and sadly euthanizes a large number of them due to shelter overcrowding and lack of adoptions.
The goal of this event, as with any event in which the Department participates, is to increase pet adoptions and community awareness and involvement with the shelter.
