It was the last stop in a one-day swing through Florida that included Jacksonville and Daytona.

"You make me feel so loved," Mrs. Obama said to the crowd.

The First Lady then addressed the devastation in the northeast.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone effected by Sandy," she said.

Mrs. Obama's main message was about the political storm coming to a head in voting booths Tuesday.

"Are you in this? Ready to go?" she said. "[Are] you going to roll up your sleeves for five more years?"

Singer Marc Anthony and actress Gabrielle Union also appeared on stage to encourage people to vote, but it was Mrs. Obama the crowd came to see.

"I think for the most part, people have made up their minds... so this is just support to see the First Lady," voter Deborah Ruffin said.

"She's a very good motivator," said one voter.

The First Lady spoke earlier Thursday in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. This is Mrs. Obama's second visit to South Florida in less than two weeks, underscoring Florida's critical role this election cycle.
