Puig took the baseball world by storm this summer.

The Dodgers were struggling, manager Don Mattingly was on the verge of being fired, and then Los Angeles called up Puig from the minor leagues.

Even though he had been playing for about a month, Puig received a serious push to be considered for the All-Star team.

Led by Puig, the Dodgers became red hot.

Puig is hitting .358, with 11 home runs, and 27 RBI.

The outfielder plays with a flare and excitement that turned around the Dodgers clubhouse.

He'll face his fellow countryman Jose Fernandez.

The rookie was the Marlins lone representative at the All-Star game.

Monday's game also marks the return of former Marlins infielder Hanley Ramirez, who has had a big year for the Dodgers.

The first-place Dodgers are in Miami for four games against the Fish.
