The Miami Dolphins got off to a fast start against the New York Jets and easily won 30-9.
Miami dominated the first-half in all three phases of the game and lead 20-0 at the half.
The Dolphins first touchdown came on a blocked punt that was recovered by former Miami Hurricane Olivier Vernon.
In the second quarter, Daniel Thomas punched home a 3-yard touchdown run to give the Dolphins a 17-0 lead.
Dan Carpenter tacked on a 39-yard field goal to give the Dolphins a 20-0 lead.
Right before the half, Vernon made another impact play.
He blocked a Jets punt.
The only downside for the Dolphins is that quarterback Ryan Tannehill injured his left quad and left knee.
He sat out the rest of the game.
Matt Moore was solid in relief.
He was 11/19 for 131 yards and a touchdown pass to Anthony Fasano.
Miami is now 4-3.
The Dolphins travel to Indianapolis next week.
The Colts also have a 4-3 record.
