MIAMI -

The NFL released its list of 2013 Hall of Fame nominees on Thursday, and 11 have ties to the Miami Dolphins.

Mark Clayton and Troy Vincent both starred for the Fins on the field. They are the two nominees with most playing time for the Fins. Short-timers Ron Jaworski, Cris Carter and Gary Clark were also nominated.

Dolphins coaches Jimmy Johnson, Bill Arnsparger and Doug Blevins were nominated.

Former Dolphins' front office gurus Boby Beathard, George Young and Bill Parcells were also nominated on Thursday.

The complete list of candidates for the Class of 2013 consists of 127 nominees comprised of 89 players, 14 coaches and 24 contributors.

That list will be eventually whittled down to 15 modern finalists.

From that list 4-to-7 new members will be selected.
