Panthers release preseason schedule

SUNRISE, Fla. -

The Florida Panthers released their preseason schedule on Thursday.

Florida opens the preseason on Monday, Sept. 24 with a doubleheader against the Nashville Predators at the BankAtlantic Center. The first game will be played at 2:30 p.m., followed by the second game at 7 p.m. 

Following the doubleheader, Florida will travel to Texas and play a game in San Antonio at the AT&T Center on Friday, Sept. 28 against the Dallas Stars. The following night (Sept. 29), Florida will travel to Dallas to take on the Stars at American Airlines Center.

The Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning will play a neutral site game at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m, followed by a game in Tampa Bay on Thursday, Oct. 4. Florida closes out the preseason with a home contest against their intrastate rivals on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
