After a hectic few hours, Heat star Chris Bosh made it home to see the birth of his child.
Bosh's wife, Adrienne, tweeted that the baby had arrived, saying, "From a Dream, To a Thought, To Reality, To being in our Arms :) Thank you for all the Positive wishes & thoughts."
ESPN reported that a Heat source said Bosh's baby is a boy named Jackson.
Heat owner Mickey Arison may have offered up a clue to the baby's name with a tweet of his own, "Congratulations to @Chrisbosh and @MrsAdrienneBosh but what's up with that name @thejaxshow? Lol"
The reference to the Jax Show could have been because the couple named the baby using the name of Heat announcer Jason Jackson.
TNT and ESPN reported Bosh will now return to New York for Game 3 of the Heat-Knicks NBA playoff series Thursday night.
The power forward hitched a ride south on a private jet so he could attend the birth.
As of noon, the Heat had not confirmed to Local 10 if Bosh will play.
