Miami Heat star to make pregame debut Sunday night

Wade will provide insight and analysis during the pregame and halftime shows for Games 2 and 3, as well as Games 6 and 7, if necessary.

The 2006 NBA Finals' most valuable player will join host Sage Steele and analysts Doug Collins and Jalen Rose on the set.

Miami missed the playoffs this season after four straight Finals appearances. Wade's former teammate, LeBron James, is playing in his fifth consecutive Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers. James rejoined the Cavaliers this season after winning world championships with Wade and Miami in 2012 and 2013.

Cleveland will face the Golden State Warriors, who haven't played in the Finals since 1975. The Cavaliers were swept in their only previous Finals appearance in 2007.

Wade will make his debut Sunday night.

The series, which begins Thursday night, can be seen only on Local 10.
