The fan bid for the rights to dump the bucket on the Marlins website.

The final bid was $4,551.

The money raised from the auction will benefit the ALS Recovery Fund (www.alsrecovery.org), an organization based in South Florida.

The bucket might be the only way to cool off Stanton.

With 32 home runs and 88 runs batted in, Stanton is considered one of the front-runners for the National League MVP.
