Miami Marlins ballpark has plenty of choices for foodies

Choices vary from ceviche to oysters to shrimp burger

LITTLE HAVANA, Fla. – When the 2014 baseball season begins, hundreds of Miami Marlins park food service workers will serve thousands of hot dogs and beers.

The small restaurant choices embrace South Florida's flavor diversity. And the stadium's 45 concessions stands even include kosher and gluten-free options.

THE 15 SPOTS: Sushi Sake, Diamond Juice, Premium Coffe, Holiday Bakery Coffee, Gluten Free, Metro Grill, Sweet Play, Rincon Habana/Goya Latin Café, Kosher Korner, Miami Mex, The Clevelander, Taste of Miami, Sir Pizza, Burger 305, and Fan Feast.

These are some of the most popular choices:

FAN FEST:  The Helmet Ballpark Nachos' tortilla chips with chipotle cheese sauce, pico de gallo and scallions come with a souvenir helmet. The Sobe Hot Dog has grilled beef with mango coleslaw and chipotle mayonnaise.

THE CLEVELANDER: The Magnum beef Chicago-style hot dog with bacon.

BURGER 305: The Miami Marlins Shrimp Burger has two types of shrimp and is served with lime aioli.

TASTE OF MIAMI: Don Camaron has ceviche for $10, oysters and seafood fritters. The Latin American has a Grill Cuban sandwich with chips for $14, plantain chips and empanadas. Papo Llega y Pon has a pork sandwich for $7, chicharrones and tamales.  

METRO GRILL:  The Lime ‘n' Lobster Roll has Florida lobster salad with chives on a bun.  The beef tenderloin sandwich has applewood bacon and spicy friend onions.

Domestic beer is $8 and imported is $10. At any of the 10 bars in the stadium Presidente, Corona, Budweiser, and Heineken are available.  The Diamond Club, The Dugout Club and the Clevelander offer craft beers and signature cocktails.
