Gordon, Stanton named to All-Star team

Best in baseball to meet in Cincinnati

MIAMI ā€“ Two members of the Miami Marlins have been named to the All-Star team.

Dee Gordon will start at second base for the NL.

The Marlins lead-off hitter is batting .339 and has been playing a tremendous second base.

Giancarlo Stanton was also voted on to the team.

He will not be able to play on July 14th in Cincinnati.

Stanton will miss most of the month with a broken bone in his wrist.

Stanton led major league baseball in home runs and RBI before getting hurt.
