Coach Joe Philbin was asked how soon McKinnie will get on the field, he said, "We'll see. We've got him out here today and moved him around. We'll see how he picks things up, and we'll take it from there one day at at time."
The problem for the Dolphins is they've picked up Ryan Tannehill 26 times after sacks.
That includes two sacks in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Buffalo.
The former University of Miami lineman is desperately needed to help bolster Miami's pass protection.
