Miami Heat sign Michael Beasley to 10-day contract

Deal marks Beasley's 3rd stint with team

MIAMI ā€“ The Miami Heat announced Thursday that the team has signed forward Michael Beasley to a 10-day contract.

Beasley comes to the team from the Chinese Basketball Association, where he signed a one-year-deal with the Shanghai Sharks on Oct. 9.

While playing for the Sharks, Beasley averaged 27.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.92 steals in 37 games while shooting 51.3 percent from the floor.

Beasley was also named MVP at the 2015 CBA All-Star Game where he scored a CBA All-Star Game record of 59 points.

This is Beasley's third time playing for the Heat, following stints in 2008 and 2013.

Terms of the team's latest deal with Beasley were not disclosed.
