NFL nixes Dolphins from poker tournament

League won't let 3 players participate

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – The NFL has nixed three Dolphins players from appearing in a poker tournament.

AJ Francis, Jason Fox and Jordan Cameron were set to appear at the Andy Slater "See You Later" tournament in Coconut Creek.

Instead, the league stepped in.

The players were told they could not play because the event was taking place at a casino.

This event comes after controversy surrounding Dallas quarterback Tony Romo's fantasy football convention in Vegas.
