WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Barack Obama will welcome the 2013 NBA Champion Miami Heat to the White House on Tuesday to honor the team for winning their second-straight championship title.
While at the White House, officials said the team will visit wounded warriors from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, continuing the tradition begun by Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to communities.
