SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers had a busy second day of the NHL draft.

The Cats selected 7 players.

Florida picked 5 forwards, 2 goalies, and a defenseman.

Selections included: G Samuel Motembeault, D Thomas Schemitsch, C Denis Malgin, LW Karch Bachman, RW Christopher Wilkie, C Patrick Shea, and G Ryan Bednard.

In round one, the Panthers picked LW Lawson Crouse with the 11th overall selection.

The draft was held at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
