Report: MLB to suspend players connected to PED clinic

Punishment expected within few weeks

MIAMI – Major League Baseball will soon suspend players connected to Miami-area clinic, according to an ESPN report.

20 players were linked to a performance-enhancing drug scandal including Alex Rodriguez and former Miami Hurricane Ryan Braun.

According to "Outside the Lines," punishment could be handed out within the next few weeks.

ESPN is reporting that Tony Boschm founder of Biogenesis of America, reached an agreement this week to cooperate with Major League Baseball investigators.

Rodriguez and Braun have already had prior issues with performance-enhancing drugs.

They could face 100-game suspensions.
