Tannehill sees Dolphins team chemistry growing

Quarterback excited for upcoming season

DAVIE, Fl. – Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is seeing the Dolphins form team chemistry.

During the team's trip to Carolina, Coach Joe Philbin cancelled a walk-through and took the team to the movies.

Philbin and the coaching staff also put on a talent show that featured the coach singing and dancing.

Tannehill said Tuesday, "I was surprised, first of all.  It was kind of a shock to see coaches who you see serious and focused all of the time, to kind of cut loose and have a good time.  I think they had a great time doing it.  We obviously had a great time watching it and it definitely was a good experience for both parties."

Tannehill said the time together on the road meant a lot to the team, "Well, it's good to spend that extra time together.  We had a lot of bus rides, a lot of time in the hotel together and we were able to hang out, and I brought some games for the hotel, so guys were playing games in the hotel and it was just great to see everyone hanging out and enjoying each other."

The Dolphins play the Falcons on Saturday.

On Tuesday, starting left tackle Branden Albert returned to all drills in practice.

Tannehill said, "Obviously, he's a great player.  We brought him here for a reason.  He had a great career while he was in Kansas City, but that's why we wanted to bring him here.  He lived up to that last year while he was on the field and unfortunately he had the injury, but he's been battling his way back all offseason."
