Tannehill leads Dolphins to dramatic win

Miami 3-0 after 27-23 victory

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins are 3-0 after a dramatic 27-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

It's the first time the Dolphins have won their first 3 games since 2002.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill led Miami on a 4th quarter comeback.

In the final minute, he hit Dion Sims for the game-winning touchdown.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan tried to lead a comeback, but Jimmy Wilson picked off his pass to seal the win for the Dolphins.

Tannehill finished 24-35 for 236 yards, 2 touchdowns, and one interception.

Miami's running game looked improved.

Lamar Miller rushed for 62 yards and Daniel Thomas had a touchdown.

Cameron Wake missed most of the game for the Dolphins after injuring his knee.

Miami's next game is on Monday Sept. 30 at New Orleans.
