1:00PM - A few rays of sunshine manage to peak through the clouds Friday afternoon.  Temperatures are nearing the upper 70s as a few stray showers roll in on an ocean breeze.   The rain chance remains at 20% .  Winds sustained 15-20 mph are contributing to an elevated risk of rip currents in the Atlantic Ocean.  Clouds will tend to linger through the evening.  Temperatures should settle in the upper 60s overnight.  Saturday may bring a few isolated showers, but the weekend should feature more dry time than rain across South Florida.  For more details on the extended forecast log on to

3:00AM - A cold front continues to weaken over the Keys today and behind the front an area of high pressure is building into the southeast bringing breezy conditions to south Florida.  Today our high temperatures will climb to around 80 with a wind out of the ENE between 15-20mph.
