MIAMI -

On this date, a hurricane in January?  Well, on this date in 1955, both the latest and earliest hurricane on record moved through the Atlantic. Hurricane Alice actually formed on December 31, 1954, but it moved over the Leeward Islands today with winds of 85 mph.
